F1 - end of season report
Well, tomorrow is the big appeal about the non-disqualification of some of the cars on the final race of the season. If they are actually disqualified then Lewis could win the title. Even has a HUGE Mclaren fan, I hope he doesn't win it in court, he should win it on the track (and would have done if Mclaren hadn't messed it up for him in China and Brazil) plus however much I dislike the Finnish driver (aka Kimi Raikkonen), he doesn't deserve to lose it in court.
Having said that, the FIA have appeared really biased against Mclaren, and towards the Italian team, and a fair result would be that if the other cars had illegally warm fuel, they should be disqualified.
It's hardly surprising that Fernando has heard the drums (sorry so obvious but had to be done) and left Mclaren, will be interesting to see where he ends up, and who replaces him.
The whole spying thing - I'm obviously going to say that Mclaren were hard done by, but I haven't seen all the evidence, so can't really comment on it. Just glad that Lewis and Fernando didn't lose points. Will be interesting to see what happens with the hearing into Renualt spying.
The next few weeks could be very interesting indeed, as could next season, depending on who joins Mclaren and where Fernando goes. Let's just hope its exciting for the right reasons - as in action on the track, rather then other controversy in court.
