Sheffield Wednesday away

It being on the Monday meant a lot of people who prob would have come weren't able to, however it also meant that John and I were able to go back to the memorial the next day, and lay scarves on the 19th anniversary of the FA Cup game which saw 96 Liverpool fans lose their lives. It was really weird thinking that we were so close to were that had happened, so I'm glad I was able to go.
Given the history with Liverpool, and it being so close to the anniversary, this ground was always going to be emotional to go, so I'll give it a 7 on the leader board, as it was a decent ground, and there is nothing to complain about.
The game itself, well we started brightly, and scored after 2 mins (a fab free kick by Mr Halmosi), but after that was mostly all Wednesday, and we we held on for a well earned point, Wednesday equalising through a great goal.
The "Green Army" were slightly disappointing, but hey we still had a good time, Chris and John and a couple of another guys leading the singing, with some suggestions from me, which included You'll Never Walk Alone, which was again emotional to sing, but glad I did.
Next up for the Mighty Pilgrims, Preston and Blackpool at home, both potentially tricky ties, followed up by our final game of the season, away to Wolves, again vvvv tricky.
I doubt we'll make the play offs, but hopefully next year we'll be back, and make a play for the premiership (don't laugh - stranger things have happened!)
