The joys of teaching - part 1

At the moment I am on school placement, in a school about 10 mins away, which is fantastic.
On Monday afternoon I was cooking with a group of children. The activity was a disaster! The "dough" mixture - which it should have been, turned out as a cake mixture. Eventually I managed to get it looking slightly dough-like, which enabled us to carry out the rest of the activity.
Unfortunately - my clean black trousers were not so clean or black by the time I had finished. They were more sort of grey, and very dirty!
I have a feeling that this will not be the last time that I end up with mess all over my clothes.
I have now got to plan a week of Literacy and Numeracy Lessons.
