So starts the training

Having watched the London Marathon the other weekend and every year for the past few years thinking that I should get off my lazy bum and do it, I have a cunning plan - more cunning then a fox that's just been made professor of cunning at Oxford University. Ok, well, not that cunning really, I'm just going to build up slowly.
So next year 2010 I will be running the 5K Race for Life, then in 2011 the 10k Race for Life, 2012, a half marathon ( think there's one in Nottingham - not far from here), and finally in 2013 the London Marathon.
I have now started a programme to help me build up to my first goal. The first session was today, and I'm feeling ok, will update next week when I've done my first week.
