News updates

Ok, so I know I haven't blogged in ages,
but tbh there isn't really much to report.

Work is going on as normal, been away with them a few times this year, sailing and camping, all good fun.

Have had a few big celebrations this year as well, a few big birthday celebrations, and some of my friends have got married in the last couple of months. They have been wonderful occasions. There have also been trips to live tours of Strictly Come Dancing, The Strictly Come Dancing Professionals, Dancing on Ice, Les Miserables and Sound of Music Now I have a few Argyle matches, more work, and some more fab theatre trips to look forward to to see Hairspray and next year's Strictly Come Dancing.

Excuse me - please don't break our stadium!

Normally when the stewards come to speak to you at a football ground, they tell you to sit down. This was not the case at Colchester the other day when the Green Army were in town. There, we were simply asked not to bang on the advertising hording, as it was broken, in a brand new (well, 2 seasons old) stadium!
The game itself was ok, we managed to salvage a draw, which given the way we played in the first half was a miracle in itself!

Apart from that, it still hurts being in League 1, getting used to the lack of media attention. It also hurts that a former manager of ours (who shall remain nameless) is managing a team in the Premier League. Match of the Day is banned (unless I really want to watch it, but then I still have to turn over when his team are on, which could be interesting this weekend when they play Liverpool). I will be making the trip down West Country in a couple of weeks, which I am really looking forward.
