The joys of teaching - part 2

On the Wednesday before half term the school I'm on placement at found out that it was going to be Ofsteded the two days after half term - queue major panic from most (if not all) the teachers there. We (the students from college) were meant to be teaching those two days, but now we're not. The year 1 class I'm in had swapped what we're doing in numeracy, so we're doing the opposite from the other two year 1 classes, so we can have enough resources, but now we've got to change it back again so we are doing the same when the inspectors come in. This now means that the girl I've been paried with and I do not know yet which of the lessons we will be teaching, and therefore, which lessons we have to plan for. Our teacher keeps saying sorry, but it's hardly her fault. At least we will have a change of seeing how an inspection works from a teacher's perspective.

Apart from that things seem to be going well, and I'm still enjoying it. This morning I am actually very hyperactive for some bizzare reason - have 2 hours of PE later!
