Plymouth, Selhurst Park and Pip the Polo

Last weekend I made a trip down west country way. I had a fab time - as per usual. Caught up with a few friends who I hadn't seen for ages, went up to Home Park to watch the Argyle boys in action against Burnley (0-0 but hey great game). Kev, Daz and Owen took the rip out of me for not making it down that often, but it is pretty difficult to go down to Plymouth and back in a day, as most weekends I have to be back to help at Children's Church on a Sunday morning.
On Saturday I went to Selhurst Park to watch Crystal Palace against Argyle, with my Palace supporting uncle. I left slightly happier then he did! (i.e Argyle won, 1-0 thanks to a goal by Nick Chadwick). Our traveling supporters are some of the loudest people around - even on a train back to Victoria after the game. I just felt really sorry for my uncle and any other Palace fans on that train.
The other major news of importance is my new car. Having had a slight accident in Mary the other week, and Mary being written off as a result, I had to get a new car. On Wednesday mum and I looked at the VW Polo, and later that morning I test drove a 2 year old one, which I really liked, so bought it, and picked it up on Saturday morning. I AM MOBILE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!! It's been so frustrating not being able to go anywhere without someone having to pick me up, or my mum or dad driving me, but now I can! My friends have decided to name her Pip. Other suggestions were: Pippa, Minty (being a Polo), Polly and Ferdinand (so she could be Fran's Ferdinand - but seeing as Rio Ferdinand scored against Liverpool the other week, it wasn't going to happen).
Can't think of much else to say right now, am going to organise a trip to watch Argyle in Leicester in a couple of weeks.
