Sparksy the Spider!

At long last I've managed to get the pictures of the display I did on my first placement, way back in November. Tracy and I did one on SP SPL and SPR words, so we thought, why not use a spider, but when it came to naming it, Tracy thought Sparky, but I suggested Sparksy. I'm sure the legend that is (Sir) Gordon (of) Sparks wont mind!
We then got the children to write words beginning with either SP, SPR or SPL on the flies which my sister designed so we could stick them round the border. We also added a few other bits and pieces that started with those blends and got them to write the correct blend on the card in front of it. The kids loved it.
